A natural gas furnace is used for both heating and cooling, because the air conditioner relies in a fan motor inside the home to circulate air through the chilled indoor coil for conditioning. A furnace is also nice to have when our winter nights get chilly!
An Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) percentage is used to rate the efficiency of a furnace. The percentage means how much fossil fuel is actually converted into heat energy. If you live in Minnesota, you’d want a furnace with an AFUE of 90% or more. Here in Arizona, you don’t need one that efficient, due to our climate.
One thing you do want to have in your furnace is a variable speed fan motor. These are quiet, and offer greater comfort than the older styled “all on or all off” furnace fans. We offer top quality furnaces that will deliver reliable, quiet comfort. We’re a Casa Grande heating and air conditioning company you can rely on for industry leading services!
